When Jason asked me what to bring I told him to make sure to take along a hat, shorts, sunscreen, sandals, lots of deodorant and the works. No need for your basic New York black. Dark colors fade due to how strong the sun is.

So here I sit like Otis Redding on the dock of the bay, waiting for my protégé to come spilling into a world that would have shocked Ripley. I am ready for all the news he has for me concerning the empire that took an entire life for me to build.

Stay tuned. I have a feeling this ain’t gonna be pretty. Hopefully I won’t have to add murder to my list of regrets…
