Publishing Contract Update…

panel37

Received the publishing contract that I have been waiting for. Not quite up to what I expected. This puts me back to searching for a better deal unless they are willing to negotiate something better. Needless to say I was surprised and disappointed. I was looking forward to the Z Trilogy to move onto the next big step. Anyway, Greetings is written and I’m working on an animal alphabet book. Hopefully that will take notice and we can go from there.

I have discovered that this new way of trying to publish is quite the journey (to say the least.) Most first time authors if they don’t self publish, are stuck in limbo. First one tries to find an agent and or publisher only to discover that they are not the flavor of the day. Yes we all know the Jack Kerouac and Bob Dylan story of how they were rejected 30 or 40 times from the same people or publishers before they finally were “discovered.” No wonder they drank and drugged.

Anyway, still have to reread the contract.

Stay tuned…hopefully there is hope and someone if not my current offer will see the value  and run with it.

Bear

So stay tuned.
