Vigil in JC

For our family in Orlando, you are not alone.

Last night was the candle light JC vigil for the victims in Orlando. We are a peaceful community that has dealt with combined prejudice and oppression, just by the mere fact that we are LGBT. And we must remember that we are ALL LGBT no matter what  race or religion  we happen to be. We are also the one group that embraces change, tolerance and difference. That’s why we have come so far and not going away. We have always been here because we are part of the whole, no matter what anyone says or believes. There are far too many of us to be ignored or exterminated. We are part of the human condition. We are born the way we are.

If one cannot accept it in themselves, then at least accept it in others. We are much more visible than we used to be and thank god for that.

As my fan base knows the concept and back story behind The Z Chronicles is centered around the LGBT community and current events. This is why it is relevant. It’s not just my story, it’s everyones story.

As we mourn our brothers and sisters who were sacrificed in this hateful event, let us not forget how strong we really are. We are more visible now as a community and like all communities we hold power.

Let’s vote these hate mongers out of office who refuse to budge on issues that harm ours and communities like us.

Stay tuned…
